One of my favourite meals of the day isn't really a meal at all, but those random "pop-up" meals that often happen in a European home. Out come the cutting boards, meat, cheese and olives and you have a perfect mid-afternoon snack.
I knew that I wanted Stesha's Bridal shower to have that feeling. Food, in all of its glorious simplicity, would be the centrepiece.
No DIY event is easily done solo, so I unconventional enlisted the help of the very multi-talented bride to pull it together. Pooling together our skills, we handmade the wooden cutting boards, table cloths, and marble ring dish favours gifted to each guest. We even tried our hand at baking to serve a chocolate, espresso and hazelnut cake.
Stesha, thanks for trusting me enough to help you bring together your closest Canadian ladies. Can't wait for your big day!
